Just Starting !!
I first started racing in 2008 on minimoto's. I raced a Polini 911 at the matchams circiut in Dorset. The racing was close all year long, and after 8 rounds i finnished 3rd overall in the championship ! - Matchams summer series 2008, 3rd - Not bad for my first year !
At the end of 2008 my dad and every one at matchams thought i was pushing the bike to it's limits so dad treated me to a RT2 proddy for my 2nd years racing in 2009. I practiced on it all over the winter and competed in 2 races at Hullavington indoor winter series and i came 1st in the first race meeting and 2nd in the second round.
Matchams 2009 CHAMPION !!
The season at matchams started on sunday 22nd February, my first outdoor race meeting on my new bike! All the way through 2009 i was running up the front most meetings a part from a couple of races when we had really bad luck with the bike, putting aside a couple of break downs i managed to finish the last 5 rounds on maximum points and unbeaten for 24 races and won my championship!
LCRRC National Series 2009 Runner Up !!
I also entered four rounds with the LCRRC (Low Capacity Road Racing Club), three at WhiltonMill at Northampton and one at Kinsham in Wales. The first round i competed in was at WhiltonMill, i came 2nd, very close racing between me and Jake Mason #99 after he came up the inside of me on the last corner of the last lap! (I got race of the round that meeting !)The second meeting i raced at Whilton Mill i came 1st, again very close racing between me, Jake Mason, Grayham Roberts #56 and Chris Spink # 42! In the third race meeting i entered at WhiltonMill i won but again it was very very hard racing but i eventually came out on top! I also entered in the pit bike 125 class as i had to race in two different meetings on a geared bike to qualify for my ACU licence. The last race meeting i entered with LCRRC was at kinsham in Wales and i was racing a Monster Moto 125cc PitBike and not the minimoto. This was great fun and good experience on a geared bike ready for the big move up to........
Aprilia Superteens 2010 - Thundersport GB !! 8TH NEWCOMERS
Without a shadow of a doubt, the hardest racing class i have ever raced in so far! I was very nervous at the start, meeting new people in a new grid, getting used to every different rider, finding out how they ride, getting used to the new bike, getting used to the huge grids, ect... 2010 we was really just trying to get used to all the new big tracks and the new bike and things so we didnt do very well in the championship, not very well at all, we managed to start getting into the top ten throughout the last three or four rounds.
APRILIA SUPERTEENS 2011
After getting the bike set up nicely over the winter with an engine rebuild and all the bike refreshed we were really looking forward to some good results.
After 4 blown engines in the first 3 rounds we decided to call it a day with the 125cc two stroke. we were spending money we never had. After missing a round, the first in 4 years we (my dad) couldnt stand it any longer. we went testing on a gsxr Suzuki 600. The next week i was entered in the Thundersport 600 superstock class. The last 5 rounds of the 2011 season was on the 600 with 4 points scoring finishes. The difference in speed from the 125 to 600 is mad!
RLR MOTORSPORT ELITE 600 2012!
Really hard year with some fast experienced guys, loved every minute on the 600, apart from when i smashed my foot and toes in at Oulton Park. Raced with BSB stock 600 guys and BSB supersport guys and learnt loads from the Triumph pro's in the young guns set up. Finished 9th in the championships from 49 entries so pretty happy for my first year. couple of secs at each track will see me up there next season.
